You can start in Praven, or you can start in the wrong town. Right before you start the game, you can pick where you want to start. Very good choice.Д¬harisma allows you to have more troops and get better deals in trades. You also get a boost to engineer, which means you build siege equiptment faster. Inventory management gives you more slots to hold stuff in, pathfinding bootst your movement speed on the map, and wound treatment helps you heal faster if you get hurt. Intelligence means youвЂ™re a smart boi, and all skills that may involve some thinking beyond вЂњstab thatвЂќ or вЂњshoot thatвЂќ fall into this, includign Inventory Management, Path-Finding, and Wound Treatment. Acrobatics increases your on foot running speed, and acrobatics allows you to ride non-trash horses. The big ones you need to worry about are Acrobatics and, if you want a horse, Riding. Basically, if you move while doing it, itвЂ™s probably agility based. It increases your health as well as allowing you to raise your Ironflesh and all the power stats (Strike, Draw, throw), increasing the amount of damage you can take and how much you can throw back at whoever decided it was a good idea to poke you with a spear.ДЄgility is all about movement, and it affects all associated skills. Strength, Agility, Intelligence, and Charisma. When you see your character sheet, there are 4 attributes. What each option does exactly is beyond me, but there are other guides that explain what each option does. The next few options are for starting stats prior to seeing your character sheet. Do you want to be a male knight and earn glory the easy way, or do you want to be a knock off Xena, Warrior Princess, and make your own mark? Your call. As a result, the choice comes down to what you want. Women have an easier time finding a spouse, as they donвЂ™t have to worry about learning poems or getting on the father/brotherвЂ™s good side. However, playing as a woman leads to more interesting games. Males tend to have an easier time in the game, as all the requirements to gain fiefs are low (only about 150 renown I believe). When you click New Game, you are greeted with a couple options to start customizing your character. Either one is fine, not like I can stop you.

Since this is most likely your first time playing, youвЂ™ll want to hit New Game, unless you want to try out the Quick Battle stuff. You can also change certain functions to make the game easier or harder.

Options: Modify options to make the game work better on your machine.

Can be useful to practice without worrying about losing your troops in campaign.

Quick Battle: Set up a quick skirmish.

Load Game: Loads up a previously saved game.

New Game: Starts a brand new campaign game.

I do not think that this work will make it into the next hotfix patch, so feel free to check back here often to see the progress that has been made.As soon as you launch the game, the main menu presents you with several options. I will keep reposting images here, and I hope that you enjoy this process. I will be generating the new textures by using grey, black, and white pallets, perhaps with gold inlays and embossments using physical effects.ДЇor a few minutes I was thinking about live streaming this process, but because I live in Korea, the chances of an audience being awake for this lazy Saturday is slim. The space between the leg shields is wider in the new mesh, and the new mesh has circular protections under the armpits, and added flourishes at the knees and elbows. The difference in meshes from old to new is relatively small. The goal here is to freshen them up a bit without spending countless hours on it. Neither armor looks particularly bad, but neither of them really look particularly good. I will be adding a texture to keep them looking fairly nondescript, but nice.ДЄs you can see, this texture and model was produced at the same time that Warband came out and PoP was migrated over. This plate will be replacing the following two armors. Plate is very plentiful, and uses some old godawful Mount&Blade sans Warband models. The goal is to generally increase the number of faces, and quality of skins for a large number of characters in game.

For fun, I might go ahead and make a new armor for them and not tell anyone about it. I have not done much skinning in the past three years, only the Barclay shield that I featured previously. Artist: is a photo of the model that I will be working with first.
